These stations are used for indoor monitoring, office monitoring and greenhouse monitoring. They are powered by a typical electrical connection. Typically, these are connected to a web presence such as pachube.com. But, they can be connected to any web/database that uses the HTTP Post or Get commands. Pachube has both an IPhone and Android phone interface. You can monitor your sensors through most smart phones, Labview, twitter, sketchup, your blog and even set SMS alerts.
